Daren has proudly served as the artistic leader of Diablo Theatre Company since May of 2005. Previously, he was the production manager for Marin Theatre Company and Willows Theatre Company, and technical director for Center REPertory Company and the Lesher Center for the Arts. Daren has been an AEA stage manager for Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Center REP, MTC and The Willows. He received his BA in Theatre from Illinois State University. He has stage directed more than forty productions in the last several years, including Diablo Theatre Company productions of Brigadoon In Concert, Peter Pan, Miss Saigon, A Grand Night for Singing and the upcoming Bay Area Premiere of Curtains, as well as our teen company, Stars 2000’s production Fiddler on the Roof. 

Deanna Anderson

Deanna became the managing director of Diablo Theatre Company in 2009 after serving on the board and as chair of the marketing committee for several years. She brings extensive business management and leadership skills to the company and has volunteered for an assortment of tasks on company productions. Deanna has more than 25 years of experience in management, marketing and sales, and was the founder of a marketing consulting company. She has held management positions in marketing, business development, and sales with several companies and holds a B.A. from San Diego State University where she studied theater and psychology.

Diane Ratto joined the Diablo Theatre Company staff in November of 2005. She has been involved in theatre activities for 20 years—from acting to administration. She holds a BA degree in Theatre Arts from San Francisco State University. Diane ran the Honolulu Marathon in 2004 in support of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and is the proud mother of a beautiful daughter born in June of 2000.

Rena Wilson
Education Coordinator and Performing Arts School Instructor

Rena Wilson joined Diablo Theatre Company in 2008. She has been teaching voice music, dancing, and acting since 2000. She is devoted to passing on her passion for the arts to a new generation.

She is also a musical theatre performer and her credits include leading rolls for Diablo Theatre Company; Irene Molloy in Hello Dolly!, Wendy in Peter Pan (Shellie Award Nominee), Marian Paroo in The Music Man, and Fiona in Brigadoon; and a supporting roll in On The Town. Some of her other Bay Area credits include The Student Gypsy (Merry May Glockenspiel- 42nd Street Moon), 42nd Street (Lorraine),  My Fair Lady (Eliza), Into the Woods (Cinderella).

Rena has a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from San José State University, where she studied with Erie Mills.  For more information log onto www.renawilson.biz
