Key Staff Members 2008-2009

Keith W. Barlow                             
Executive Director

Keith was hired in December of 2002.  A Bay Area native, Keith graduated from UC Berkeley in 1989 with degrees in English and Political Science.  In 1994 he received his MBA in marketing and finance from UC Davis, graduating in the top 10% of his class.  Keith spent several years in the financial industry and later founded and ran a small scanner business.  Prior to working at DLOC, Keith spent two years as director of customer services at the Willows Theatre Company in Concord.  Keith is an avid performer and has developed relationships with most of the major theater companies in the East Bay.  Keith and his wife Bobbie live in Antioch and have recently celebrated the birth of their son, Spencer.

Daren A.C. Carollo
Artistic Director

Daren joined DLOC in May of 2005.  He received his BA in Theatre from Illinois State University in 1999 with a focus in acting and directing.  Previously, he has served as the technical director for Center REPertory Company/Dean Lesher Regional Center for the Arts and production manager for Marin Theatre Company and Willows Theatre Company.  Daren has been an AEA stage manger for Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Center REP, MTC and the Willows.   He has also stage directed almost thirty productions in the last four years including; Noises Off, Jekyll and Hyde, and To Kill a Mockingbird.  He has directed Fiddler on the Roof for Diablo Light Opera Company's STARS 2000, as well as Peter Pan, Miss Saigon and A Grand Night for Singing for DLOC.

Diane Ratto
Business Manager

Diane Ratto joined the DLOC staff in November of 2005.  Diane has been involved in theatre activities for the past twenty years in nearly every capacity – from acting to administration. She holds a BA degree in Theatre Arts from San Francisco State University. While performing throughout the Bay Area, Diane developed her office administration savvy while working in banking, pharmaceutical & interior design industries and also for an internet service provider.  Diane ran the Honolulu Marathon in 2004 in support of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and is the proud mother of a beautiful daughter born in June of 2000.

Jennifer Antonacci
Education Coordinator

Jennifer joined the DLOC staff in February of 2008. With a strong commitment to arts education and youth development, Jennifer has worked as a performing arts instructor at numerous Bay Area schools as well as California Shakespeare Theatre, Education Unlimited, and Contra Costa Civic Theatre. Jennifer graduated with honors from Emerson College, receiving her BA in a dual emphasis program, concentrating her studies in dramaturgy and performance. In addition to managing and facilitating the arts education programming here at DLOC, Jennifer continues to pursue her work as a performing artist, and can been seen frequenting various bay area stages.
