Into the Woods- A "Stars 2000" teen theater
production.
Show dates are July 31, August 1,6,7,8 at 8 p.m. and August
2,8 & 9 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 with a special
price of $8.00 for seniors & youths or groups of 15
or more. Performances are at the Lesher Theatre at
the Dean Lesher Regional Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek.

Plot:
INTO THE WOODS is based on the authentic version of
fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm. Sondheim and Lapine have
woven a wonderful blend of music, dialogue and favorite storybook
characters together into a spellbinding tale of magic and
laughter. They all go INTO THE WOODS on a quest for
their wish, certain that they will be "happy ever after".
This crew of classic fairy tale characters with a multi-layered
plot, ends "happily ever after" in Act One. But
Act Two explores what "happily ever after" really
means! What will happen in the "ever after"?
