THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE
This tuneful, offbeat Tony Award-winning musical is a bonafide crowd pleaser that's chock-full of overachievers' angst, bizarre and multi-syllabic words, romance and cliff hanging suspense! The tension is palpable, the excitement is mounting and the heady scent of competition is in the air as six deliciously geeky, philologically industrious young students from across the county take part in what is undoubtedly one of the greatest events of their lives - The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Suggested for ages 12 and up.

Be part of the BEE:
Four audience members for each performance are recruited to appear on stage with cast members as part of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. If interested in participating, please come early: 30-45 minutes prior to curtain time. You must have a paid ticket to that performance to participate. Our "Bee Representative" will be waiting in the lobby to take your form and to brief you on your participation.

What: Derek Travis Collard directs, Diane Kamrin musically directs and choreographs a Diablo Theatre Company/Stars 2000 production of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical about a small-town spelling bee.
Where: Las Lomas High School Theatre,

When: Eight performances January 15 – 30, 2010
Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm
Sundays at 2:30 pm
